Back in 2021, my career took a big turn. I went from being a creative service freelancer to working full time at a medical device company based out of Toronto called MOLLI Surgical which specializes in tumour localization - specifically in breast cancer patients.
Having never worked in healthcare before, I was immediately struck by the drive and passion of my colleagues to improve patient care. Throughout the last two years, I have had the opportunity to interact with physicians and a number of cancer survivors and I am consistently blown away by the determination of the cancer community to ease suffering, advocate for awareness and save lives.
This is my way to give back to these incredible people who work tremendously hard every day to fight this disease.
