Hi friends and family,
I am so excited and honored to participate in my 6th marathon as a Children's Champion in partnership with the Nationwide Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon &1/2 Marathon. This race is such a powerful and moving experience - not only for children who benefit from the fundraising, but also for me as a participant. To make it extra special, my company, Agility Partners, started partnering with Nationwide Children's Hospital this year as a way to serve our local community. We had the privilege of learning more about the care, research, and resources that Nationwide Children's Hospital provides to children locally and all over the world.
Now, more than ever, the dollars we raise are critical. So many of us are experiencing challenges like we have never faced in our lifetime and, as you can imagine, Nationwide Children’s Hospital is no exception. Through our partnership with Nationwide Children's Hospital, we learned about the importance of mental health resources for children and their influencers. Parents, teachers, relatives, coaches, and other influential adults in a child's life can access free mental health resources for children that will not only help them support the children in their lives better, but also challenge them to prioritize their own mental health. Every service that Nationwide Children's Hospital provides is critical, but this resource in particular resonated with me - since mental health and wellness impacts us all.
