Move for Mental Health

In 1990, my family was forever changed by the suicide of my brother John. All these years later I can say the loss is a daily presence for me. I miss that guy so much! The biggest part of this tragedy is that I truly believe this did not need to happen. John began struggling with depression in high school, but kept this a secret for years, except for a close friend or two, who also kept his depression a secret.

If John and those friends had participated in LifeAct's programming, John could have gotten the help he needed -- because either he or those friends would have come forward for help.

I can't bring John back, but I can support LifeAct because our programs really do make a huge impact. Each time instructors go into schools, teens come forward for help for themselves or others. And we do not charge schools for our programming. I hope you will join me in supporting LifeAct's Move for Mental Health. Together we really can save lives.
