Everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer. From family members to close friends, I’ve seen firsthand how devastating and unfair this disease can be. I pedal with a purpose…

For my best friend Lauren, a childhood neuroblastoma survivor whose loyalty and strength inspire me every day. To celebrate Emil, a member of my family who is now in remission after battling lymphoma. And in support of my close friend Hannah and her family, who lost her grandpa to colon cancer last year.

I’m participating in Pedal the Cause because I want better for the next person who hears the words “you have cancer.”

Pedal the Cause is more than a bike ride, it’s a powerful movement funding groundbreaking cancer research right here in St. Louis. Every penny of every dollar raised supports innovative work at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, driving progress toward new treatments, clinical trials, and ultimately, a cure!
