Pedal the Cause

I am proud to join Pedal the Cause for a second year in a row. This is one of the largest charity bike rides in the US, and 100% of the money raised stays in St. Louis to fund research projects here. As an MD/PhD student, I have had the opportunity to be a part of the cutting edge research here, and I have been involved with the care of patients facing cancer. We have come a long way in the last few decades towards understanding the molecular basis of cancer and how to treat it, but there are still may unanswered questions and a dire need to develop more effective and less caustic therapies. I am confident that the money raised by PTC will have a positive impact in the lives of patients around the world.
