Hello and welcome, Friends. My name is Joey Patterson.
Three things always come back around in my life. Lacrosse, the Army, and my Family. My Family led me to Lacrosse. Lacrosse led me to the Army. The Army has led me back home to Family. And my Family has led me back to Lacrosse. The circle will not/cannot end.
Please support Shootout For Soldiers, my portion of it if you'd like. At my age (and mileage), a large part of the reason I returned to playing and stringing sticks is for the ones who didn't make it. Either they went down in the war or they went down from the wounds, seen or unseen, that followed them home.
The Creator's Game is good medicine, I still believe that. We must all keep playing for the Game's own sake.
See you at X. Play on.
-Joey P.
"... And there would be a winner and a loser, but that didn't seem to be so much a point of the game as the celebration, the sense of community, the being together with pride." -Oren Lyons
