John Beals passed away on March 24, 2024 after a short battle with brain cancer. He was an incredible husband, father, son, brother, and friend. John was a loving, kind, selfless, compassionate, helpful, and very humorous man. There is nothing he loved more than spending time with his friends and family, helping his neighbors, and serving his community. Although we wish John was here to walk with us, we are walking in honor of him in hopes that others don’t have to walk in honor of their loved ones, but instead can walk with them.

We never want anyone to have to go through this journey - learning someone you love won’t be able to win their battle with an illness, watching them slowly get weaker, and eventually knowing it’s time to say goodbye. It’s the most difficult thing in the world, but with more research and awareness, fewer and fewer people will have to go through this journey.
