In 2017, my mother was diagnosed with thyroid cancer—a moment that changed our lives forever. She received treatment, radiation, and a successful surgery at City of Hope, where I stayed by her side throughout her recovery. As a registered nurse, I was not only her daughter but also her caregiver, and the one our family leaned on during those difficult days. Today, my mom is in remission, and her strength, along with the incredible care she received, inspired me to join City of Hope as part of the very team that once cared for her. Now, I stand on the front lines in the fight against cancer—not just in the hospital, but on the pavement. I’m running to honor my mom, to support the American Cancer Society, and to fight for every family facing this battle. Every step is for hope, healing, and a future without cancer. Thank you for your support. 💜
