Description
Open Door Outreach Center Julie RUN TO END HUNGER annual 5k run/walk and 1 mile fun run will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

Location: Oakland Community College – Highland Lakes Campus

5k run/walk Pricing: $40 until 9/19. $50 race day. (shirts not guaranteed with registrations after August 31st, 2025)
Get a cool race t-shirt: T-shirt is guaranteed with paid registration by end of day August 31st, 2025. T-shirts may be available after that date as supplies last. We are offering adult unisex small thru XXL. Valid for the 5k run/walk only.
1 mile fun run: $15, no shirt included.
Race day packet pickup and registration: 8:00 am at the race start line.
Schedule: Race starts at 9:00 am.
5k Awards: Trophy to Male and Female overall winners. Medals to first place Male and Female in age groups: 17 and under, 18-39, 40-59, 60 and over
1 Mile: Participation Ribbons to 1 mile participants

Proceeds from the event go to Open Door Outreach Center to feed hungry families in our community
The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and online at the results tab, top of the page.

If you would like to support our cause and get a free entry to the race donate $100. When you register for the race your entry will be free! (valid until 9/19) A $50 donation will receive $15 off your race entry fee, $25 donation receives $5 off entry fee. The donation discount applies to the 5k run/walk only.
Steps how to receive a free/discounted entry:
1. Choose Sign Up and follow the steps to register for the race
2. You will be routed to the Donation page during registration, choose the donation level
3. Your discount (free entry) will be reflected in the cart during checkout.
* Please note if you go to the donation page first and enter the donation the discount will not be applied for a free entry. You must register by choosing Sign Up first.
