This April, I will be participating in the 2026 Boston Marathon Tough Ruck.
I will complete the entire marathon distance carrying a 45 lb rucksack in honor of America’s fallen military members and first responders.
Tough Ruck is not just a physical challenge. Many participants carry the names of the fallen on ribbons attached to their rucks. It is a reminder that this event is about remembrance, responsibility, and standing behind the families who continue to carry the weight of service long after the uniform comes off.
On April 15, 2013, Tough Ruckers were at the Boston Marathon finish line and immediately joined first responders in aiding the wounded after the bombing. The organization was built on that spirit; doing hard things in the service of others.
All funds raised go directly to supporting service members and families who need care and assistance now. Donations are tax deductible and genuinely make a difference.
In addition to fundraising, my goal is to carry as many names of the fallen as possible on ribbons during the ruck. If there is someone you would like honored, please send me their name. I would be humbled to carry it with me across the full 26.2 miles.
If you are willing, I would be grateful for your support. Whether that means donating, sharing the page, or sending a name to honor, it all matters.
Thank you.
