Story

I am Tough Rucking for America’s Fallen Military and First Responders.

This April, I will complete the Boston Marathon carrying a 45 lb weighted rucksack as part of Tough Ruck Nation. Tough Ruck is a group of 1,000 who ruck to honor America’s fallen military members and first responders, and to raise funds for service members and families who need support now.

Many participants wear ribbons bearing the names of the fallen. It is a reminder that this is not just a physical event; it is a promise to remember, to honor, and to take care of those who have borne the cost of service.

The mission is straightforward; as much as our warriors have sacrificed, they and their families deserve the best care and support available in their hour of need. Your tax-deductible donation goes directly toward that support, and it can truly be a lifeline.

On April 15, 2013, Tough Ruckers were at the Boston Marathon finish line and joined first responders to help those injured in the blasts. Tough Ruck exists in that spirit; doing hard things for others, and showing up when it counts.

Thank you for supporting this effort, whether you donate, share, or send a note of encouragement.

It all matters.
