The Genesis Battlegreen Run is BACK!
This annual tradition is celebrated by the local community for both the spirit of the event and the incredible fundraising achieved by participants for local nonprofits.
The specific nonprofit I am fundraising for is Supportive Living Inc.’s Neuro-Fit program, which I have the honor of participating in for my clinical practicum this semester for my senior year at UMass Lowell. Neuro-Fit provides exercise programs for those affected by brain injuries, and are looking to improve functional fitness limited by their condition. Neuro-Fit provides scholarships to participants who are unable to afford costs of attending the Neuro-Fit program, and allows Supportive Living Inc. to provide these exercise programs to those who need it. Neuro-Fit at Supportive Living Inc. has impacted the lives of many since being established in 1991, and gives back to local communities of people who have had their lives severely disrupted. Proceeds of this fundraiser for the Battlegreen run directly help individuals seeking scholarships and financial assistance to participate in Neuro-Fit, and will greatly benefit those seeking help and assistance in living with their condition. Any and all donations are incredibly appreciated and will help positively impact the lives of many.
