Pedal 4 Possible: At the Raceway

Hello my name is Alexander Cano Gonzalez, I suffered a spinal cord injury 4 years ago at the young age of 15. After several surgeries I found out that I had an incomplete spinal cord injury and would be paralyzed for the rest of my life, and I would need to attend rehab so I was referred to Craig Hospital. At the time it seemed like I lost everything. I was mad at myself. I thought that because of my injury I lost my opportunity to strive for greatness. That was until my family and I got some great news. I had been told by the staff at the hospital that I had been accepted into Craig! Although I had no idea what a stay at Craig would consist of, this news was the sliver of hope my family and I needed to keep fighting. Once I arrived I was met with the most amazing staff. I’ve met lifelong friends because of Craig and for that, I am forever appreciative. Before my stay at Craig I was a very lost teenager however during my darkest times I was able to find my purpose and that’s thanks to all the staff at Craig!
