When a child is diagnosed with cancer, everything STOPS. A family’s whole life changes just like that and it does not go back to normal. Bills and stress are at an all-time high and help from others is critical. One in 285 children in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer by the time they are 20 years old. Childhood cancer research and treatments are vastly and consistently underfunded. Keris, was a proud Kindergarten graduate of Newnan Crossing Elementary School. She was a vibrant and faithful child who bravely battled a rare form of pediatric brain cancer called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) from the age of 4 until her transition at the age of 6. She made a lasting impression on those that knew her. The name Keris means love and charity. Our driving motivation is to pay it forward with love and charity and bless other hurting families the same way the community blessed Keris. Proceeds from this event fund our Family Emergency Fund, Keris Kares 4 the Arts program, and our Food for Families Program. Your registration helps us KARE for families, kids, and teachers. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION!
