The Tri-Cities Family YMCA invites you to kick-off your summer at the 2022 Team Grand Haven Custom Molding Kick-Off to Summer Run! Whether you are an avid racer or an occasional walker, there is something for everyone and all ages are welcome. Our races consist of a US Track & Field certified 5k Run and a 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk (be sure to bring your wagon or stroller). Join us for this fun family event as we promote healthy lifestyles and building community in the Tri-Cities area! See you on the race course!

PACKET PICK-UP/LATE REGISTRATION will take place Friday, May 27th 3:00pm to 6:30pm. If you are unable to attend on Friday, your packet will be available for pick-up on Saturday, May 28, from 7:00am to 8:15am.
Please note: The cut-off date to be guaranteed a race shirt is May 13th. Registrations placed after this date will receive a race shirt on a first come, first serve basis.
5k Male & Female Open and Masters, Age 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over. You may pick up your medal at the designated tent. If you are unable to pick up on race day, please visit the Tri-Cities Family YMCA Welcome Center the week following the race to pick up your medal. A QR code to view results will be provided in various locations.
The course is challenging, with varied terrain, and offers the beautiful scenery of Lake Michigan and Grand Haven. The 5k route is US Track & Field Certified. Please note this is an open course. Please be respectful of volunteers and public safety officials directing runners-it is for your safety.
The 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk is a non-competitive run/walk for the entire family (strollers and wagons welcome). Family members who ran the 5k do not need to register separately for the one mile fun run.
In the event of inclement weather, events will be delayed in 15 minute increments. If the 5k race has not been started by 930am, all events will be cancelled.
Please allow time for parking. The YMCA lots will close by 7:30am. If you have parked at the YMCA, you will not be able to exit until 10:30 AM. Parking in local municipal lots and city streets is advised. It is safe to estimate a 10-15 minute walk to the YMCA.
