Deb Moynihan Lestenkof was one of those people who make you believe in goodness, kindness and giving back. She was a remarkable woman, mother, artist and friend. Deb had been a kidney patient for what seems like forever but that didn't stop her. I met her while she was dialyzing - She had a kidney transplant that failed, went back on dialysis and then received a second kidney transplant. Sadly Deb went into the hospital on the day she planned to open her own shop (she was an alcohol ink artist) and passed the next week from Covid.
Deb was a great supporter of the AKPA and designed the 2018 Kidney Walk logo.... She was a force of nature and is missed by many.
All the funds you raise stay in Alaska and help the AKPA continue to provide programs and services that support and nurture kidney patients and their families.
