I have a milestone Birthday (30...I turn 30) this fall and so conveniently the Saturday before my Birthday the Humane Society of West Michigan is having their annual Bark in the Dark 5k! In my 20s I'd be celebrating by closing down the bar, but since I'm getting older and wiser I'll be volunteering and running an evening 5k to support the Humane Society of West Michigan. In lieu of gifts, dinner, or drinks I'd love for my friends and family to celebrate with me by making a donation to the Humane Society of West Michigan. Your donations will help motivate me to run as fast as I can and every little bit will help an animal (dogs, cats,and other small critters) get one step closer to finding their forever home!
Humane Society of West Michigan is a 100% donor-funded 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, which means that they rely on the generosity of community members like you to help support the 4,000+ homeless animals who receive medical and daily care with a lot of love until they are adopted into their forever homes! Additional programming includes youth and adult education, training courses, and services to help low-income pet owners keep their pets in their homes.
