Lamoille Community House Raise the Roof 2020

Last year, we held our first annual Raise the Roof fundraising event - a night of music, food, raffles, and community. We were able to raise $13k through the support of individuals and business sponsors. This year, due to covid19, we are unable to host a big party, but we want to keep the fundraising spirit of Raise the Roof alive.

We'll be hosting a series of OUTDOOR safe and distanced events that all of our wonderful supporters can participate in!

Two of our fun events will be organized through this website.

The first is our Homeless Awareness Day Camp-Out Night on October 10th! Camp out anywhere you'd like: your backyard, your front yard, with friends, etc. Take a picture, use our hashtags #lchtheskysthelimit #lchcampoutnight to raise awareness and gather donations. The fundraiser with the most donations will get a fun prize!  If you fundraise over $200, you will get a free t-shirt, and if you raise over $300 you unlock the hoodie and can choose a t-shirt or a hoodie. Just email us your size and color choice and we will order it for you. Our second event is held over a two week period (Oct 17th - Oct 31st) in order to allow folks to participate whenever it's convenient for them! Our Virtual Walk/Run is all about logging your miles when you go for a run or walk! Cost to register is $20, and all proceeds go directly to LCH. The participant with the most miles will also win a gift certificate to local gym Deep Roots fitness for a 12 class foundations membership! Covid19 may have taken away our party, but we can still get together virtually, and outdoors, to Raise the Roof! 

Covid19 has also impacted the way we will operate this winter. We will be increasing our hours of operations meaning we'll be open 24/7 for our guests. With limited places for them to safely isolate from the virus, we need to have our doors open all day every day. With these additional hours means additional staff and additional costs. We're counting on YOU to help us raise the funds to be able to operate at this new capacity this winter!
