Hi everyone!
Once again, I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.
I am participating in @PedaltheCause for my 11th consecutive year. The event takes place on September 22nd, and I plan to complete the “Big Hitter” ride with a distance of 57 miles. I’ve upped my fundraising goal to at least $1,500. I have confidence that my supporters will help me achieve my new goal.
This year, I am riding in honor of
- My long-time friend, Dorothy Hutson, who has completed breast cancer treatment last year. Stay well, Dorothy!
- My nephew, Christopher Caslione. He continues to bravely fight Hodgkin’s Lymphoma for the second time in his young life. He’s doing well with immunotherapy. Keep fighting, Chris!
And, I am riding in memory of my childhood friend, Kathy Bennett Hicks, who lost her battle with lung cancer earlier this year. She was so brave and such a fighter. She is dearly missed.
