At SLI's Neuro-Fit program, we believe that rehabilitation and wellness shouldn’t have an expiration date. Recovery and progress can continue long after someone leaves a hospital or traditional rehabilitation setting, but too often, people with brain injuries are left without the consistent support they need to keep moving forward.
As Director of Neuro-Wellness and Education, I work alongside individuals to create personalized opportunities for movement, fitness, cognitive engagement, and meaningful activities that support their health, independence, and quality of life. No two people are the same, and I’ve seen firsthand how something as simple as finding the right routine, activity, or source of encouragement can make a meaningful difference.
This work is incredibly personal and rewarding to me. Every person we serve has their own story, challenges, strengths, and goals, and I’m grateful to be part of a team that recognizes the whole person and not just their injury or diagnosis.
Your support helps us continue providing these opportunities and reaching more individuals and families in our community, especially individuals who are low-income or no longer working after a brain injury.
Thank you for supporting a cause that means so much to me!
