Description
COVID-19 is changing our lives. We had hoped to have our Lost Boys' Fun Run but after many considerations we have decided to CANCEL our race in Ohio. However, our walk will still go on in South Sudan. We want to encourage people to still sponsor a child in South Sudan by clicking on the DONATE button at the top. Last year 200 children walked in South Sudan because of sponsors that donated on this site. The children were thrilled to be able to have ownership in supporting their clinic. The children will still do their walk in a safe manner and are looking for those who will sponsor them. Just click on the donate button at the top to sponsor a child.

Route Options
At any time between 9:00 and 11:30 AM, you can begin your chosen race distance. There are options of 5K, 1.5-miles, and 0.9 miles, and maps are provided below. Courses all overlap and the park is not closed to the public. Please be aware of others along the way and be safe. Along the 0.9-mile route, there will be 30 signs along the route with paintings by the Lost Boys and their story.
Parking
Glacier Ridge Metro Park Rangers will be assisting with parking on event morning. Please obey all signage and instructions as you arrive to park.
Race Day Timeline
- 9:00 AM - Race day pickup and registration will begin, and events begin shortly after. If you plan on running/racing the 5K, we recommend (but don't require) starting now to run with others and avoid the heat of the day. Remember, this is a "choose your own start time" event so you can start anytime between 9-10:30 AM
- 11:30 AM - Last possible starting time for any event.
Awards
All distances are accurately measured and you can be confident that your distance is correct. These events are untimed and there are no placement awards. We encourage all to run or walk their own race!

Glacier Ridge Metro Park also has a Kids' obstacle course and a Natural Play Area including towers, ramps, ropes, ladders, and the very popular children's zip line.
