Youth Mentoring Connection presents Miles of Music 5k

When I was approached last year about joining the Board of an organization called Youth Mentoring Connection, little did I know . . .  A year plus later I have met the most inspiring group of professional teen whisperers who are so unbelievably dedicated to the youth of Los Angeles.  YMC really wants its Board members to experience their programs and now that I have, all I can say is WOW.  I had the true blessing of meeting my mentee who has brought me hope (and lots of fun) during a time it is greatly needed.  YMC creates a safe space for youth to find a community of peers and mentors who have their back, accept them where they are and only desire to provide them with a sense of belong and support.  My experience as a mentor has been more precious and fulfilling than I could ever have imagine and I am so proud to be associated with this amazing organization.  Please help us keep spreading the love, the wisdom and the comfort of community to our youth in need in LA.  Please sponsor me as a runner in our Miles of Music Annual Fund Raiser in Griffith Park on April 10, your contributions are much appreciated and will go to extremely good use.  Kids need our help RIGHT NOW more than ever!  Thank you for your support.
