Support the Fight Against Cancer for My Mom

I dedicate my first ever marathon to my mom, Lisa Simon. Lisa was an incredible person who sacrificed so much for me and my brother. As a travel agent, she loved taking us on vacations and seeing new places. She loved taking pictures because she loved making memories and looking back at them later.

On December 29, 2023, cancer took my mom from us far too soon. She had so much life left to live. I've been thinking about running a marathon for a long time. My mom inspires me and my family to keep making memories and living life while we can. I hope that one day no one's life will be cut short because of cancer. I hope you'll consider supporting the American Cancer Society in honor of my mom.
