Team MARE is excited to participate in the 2026 Genesis Battlegreen Run! All of our runners and walkers are taking strides to make life-changing connections for children and teens in foster care.
Knowing that every child needs a safe, loving, permanent family to thrive, each of our teammates is participating to help raise funds in support of MARE's work on behalf of the 1,400 Massachusetts youth who are currently in foster care with a goal of adoption.
About the Genesis Battlegreen Run - Sunday, November 1 - Lexington, MA
This annual tradition is celebrated by the local community for both the spirit of the event and the incredible fundraising achieved by participants for local nonprofits.
The Genesis Battlegreen Run includes opportunities for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to participate at the 10K run, 5K walk/run, and 1.2 mile walk distances.

The Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange, Inc. (MARE) builds connections for youth in foster care with permanent and adoptive families.
We exist especially to create life-changing connections for the children and teens who wait the longest in Massachusetts foster care without permanent families, including children of color, teens and young adults, sibling groups, those with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ youth. To this end, we equip and support families to provide stability, healing, and belonging.
