Edmund Fitzgerald Memorial Swim

Ties to the manufacturing and freight industry run deep on our family. My sister Kelly & I are thrilled to be a part of this endeavor to honor the memory of those lost on the Edmund Fitzgerald 50 years ago and to support the safety of all of the men & women that transport heavy cargo across the great lakes. Our great grandfather, pictured above along side our grandfather and great uncle, worked as a freight train conductor for the Chicago & Northwestern Rail Line transporting heavy cargos such as iron ore pellets (the cargo the Edmund Fitzgerald was carrying) across the Midwest. We thank you for your support in preserving the Whitefish Point Lighthouse that safeguards mariners along Lake Superior's "Shipwreck Coast" and serves as a reminder of the importance of the safety for all that enable manufacturing & freight across the Midwest.
