Debbie H. and Marie G. met during a chemo appointment, and realized they had a common bond. Both were diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the fall of 2022. They have become friends by being a sounding board for each other. They routinely share pictures of their hair journey and discuss related symptoms to this disease. In 2023, it is estimated that over 22,000 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer and over 14,000 will die as a result of the disease.
