Living with cystic fibrosis has taught me that every breath matters, and every step forward is something worth fighting for.
This year, I’m taking on a challenge that means more to me than I can fully put into words: hiking Mount Washington. For many people, it’s already a tough and iconic mountain, known for its extreme weather and elevation. For me, it represents something even bigger, a chance to push past the limits of CF.
CF fundraisers are not just about raising money, they’re about hope and awareness. Every donation, every share, and every ounce of support, fuels our fight.
This year, I’m incredibly grateful to have received a grant from the Breathe Strong Foundation. Because of their support, I now have a new Osprey hiking pack and new hiking boots. These are two tools that I wouldn’t be able to conquer mountains without. Their grant isn’t just about gear, it’s about giving me the opportunity to take on this fundraiser safely and with confidence. It truly means the world to me.
This hike is for the CF community. It’s for the fighters, the families, and everyone who understands how hard this disease can be. And it’s for a future where cystic fibrosis no longer holds anyone back.
Thank you for your donations, your support, and your kindness. 💜
