TCS New York City Marathon Semper Fi & America's Fund Team 2024

I'm proudly supporting Semper Fi & America's Fund as a community athlete for the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon Semper Fi & America's Fund Team. The marathon is taking place this year on November 3rd.

Semper Fi & America’s Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is one of America's highest-rated charities, dedicated to providing urgently needed resources for combat-wounded, critically ill, and catastrophically injured members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families.

Since its incorporation in 2004, Semper Fi & America’s Fund has given over $327 million in vital and ongoing assistance to over 32,000 service members, veterans, and military families.

The Fund provides one-on-one case management, connection, and lifetime support to ensure service members and their families can achieve the highest possible quality of life and independence in a loving, caring, and committed community. The Fund manages and operates diverse, comprehensive programs organized in the three following categories:

• Service Member and Family Support: providing direct financial assistance and vital services for service members and their families during hospitalization and recovery

• Transition: providing service members with the tools and skills to successfully reconnect with their communities and build new, productive lives beyond injury to recovery

• Integrative Wellness: providing wellness programs that provide targeted services and resources to meet service members' specific needs, including but not limited to PTSD and TBI support, counseling, a sports program, and service dog resources

These programs encompass a powerful holistic approach, integrating physical, mental, and emotional recovery through powerful therapies and innovative technologies, which most often leads to both healing and post-traumatic growth.
