This team was created in memory of my dad, lovingly known as Magic Bob, who passed away from kidney cancer in August of 2022. His strength, humor, and unwavering love for his family defined him, and though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched—including mine.
"Miles for Magic Bob" is more than just a name. It's a tribute to a man who brought light into every room, a reminder of the fight he endured with courage, and a promise to carry that spirit forward in support of others battling cancer.
This team is also dedicated to the extraordinary ICU nurses at Moffitt Cancer Center—my colleagues, my heroes, and the same people who cared for my dad during his most vulnerable moments. Their compassion and dedication inspire me every day, and it is an honor to run alongside them and for them.
Join us as we walk, run, and remember. Every step we take is for Magic Bob—and for the hope, healing, and heart that Moffitt represents.
