I’m running this 5K in support of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, a cause that is deeply personal to me.
My motivation comes from my own life experiences. My mom lives with inflammatory bowel disease, and seeing the challenges that come with conditions like Crohn's disease and Ulcerative colitis has given me a real understanding of how much strength it takes to live with these illnesses every day.
I’ve also had the opportunity to work alongside a gastrointestinal doctor, where I saw firsthand how many people are affected by these conditions and how important research, awareness, and support truly are. That experience inspired me even more to contribute in any way I can.
Running this race is my small way of helping bring awareness and support to those living with inflammatory bowel disease. Every step I take represents hope for better treatments, stronger support systems, and ultimately a cure.
If you’re able to support this cause, whether through a donation or simply sharing this page, it would mean so much—not just to me, but to the millions of people living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
Together, we can help make a difference.
