For over 40 years Bay Area Women Against Rape (BAWAR) have offered free services, peer-counseling and advocacy 24-hours a day. Donations from our community, both monetary and in-kind, have sustained the agency. BAWAR also offers three Rape Crisis Counselor-certification trainings per year in Oakland and Fremont. Our volunteer advocates are the backbone of our services.
