Hi friends,
As you may know, I am a board-certified music therapist working in hospice. I sing to and with the most beautiful people all around Monroe County at the end of their lives, living those last days to the fullest. In music, my patients find peace, acceptance, and love at the end of their lives. Their families benefit from music therapy, as well, with added grief support, emotional expression with music, and guidance along the way. The moments in music therapy are unmatched - there is so much joy, laughter, and love in our sessions.
I am running the URMC Hospice 5K to raise money for hospice in the greater Rochester area and help to expand the amazing services we get to provide patients (including music therapy!). I would love your support as I run my first-ever 5K and honor all of the families I've worked with over the years and each patient I remember through song. Help me further the mission and spread awareness for hospice by donating to the run, signing up to walk (or just hang out?), or joining me for the 5K.
