Since the start of the new year, I have taken up running again.  After taking a break for a year, it feels good to run again (more like...plod).  I run to enjoy the outdoors, maintain good health, and take a break from the computer.

On 4 June 2026, I will run for an additional purpose:  to raise money for New Community Outreach (NCO).  This is the second year that I am funding raising for NCO.  NCO supports Bronzeville's youth and greater community on the south side of Chicago.  The money raised is used towards restorative activities that bring healing, reconciliation, and flourishing for youth affected by violence, particularly gun violence.  You can read more about NCO at the website:  https://newcommunityoutreach.org/
