This is my sixth Cross Bay Swim. Thank you for supporting my swim as well as the Hospice Care Network Children's Bereavement Services and the Maggie Fischer Scholarship Fund. These funds help make a huge impact on the lives of many here on Long Island.
Swimming has been a part of my life for over the past decade. Since I was young, I always heard about the Cross Bay swim, and always wanted to be a part of the race when I was old enough. As a St. Anthony's Alumni, collegiate swimmer, and Fire Island Ocean Lifeguard, this swim has a lot of significance. Additionally, I remember my Dad always encouraging me to participate in this swim.
Looking forward to hopefully seeing you at the finish line on July 9th (or 10th) !
