Our women's cycling team, the New Mexico Spokettes, has been part of the Lobo Cancer Challenge since it started. The Lobo Cancer challenge started as a cycling only event. We are passionate about cycling and supporting our community, so we signed up and keep signing up. One of our teammates, Kathy Thompson, died from cancer in 2019. We ride in her memory as well as in memory and honor of other loved ones. We are grateful for this opportunity to do something to help.
