Description

One in every nine of our fathers, husbands, brothers or sons will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime. One in 41 will die of this disease. The NOLA Bluedoo Run, Walk, & Party is doing its part to raise awareness and funds to aid in the fight against this formidable opponent. You can join the fight on Saturday, September 17, 2022, when Tulane Cancer Center hosts the Seventh Annual NOLA Bluedoo to benefit the prostate cancer research fund at Tulane Cancer Center.

The 2 Mile event is open to runners and walkers of all speeds on a path that takes participants on a tour across Tulane University’s beautiful Uptown campus. The walk/run course begins and ends in Tulane’s academic quad behind Gibson Hall near St. Charles Avenue. Registration will be available on race day. Late registration is $40 for all adults, $25 for all youth (20 and under). Cash, check, or credit card will be accepted.

Race Day Schedule:

  • 3:00 PM - Race Day Packet Pickup & Late Reg Opens
  • 4:00 PM - 2 Mile Run & Walk Begins
  • 4:30 PM - Music By Wendell Brunious and his band's "Tribute to Allen Toussaint"

Attendees to NOLA Bluedoo 2022 will enjoy FREE waters and soft drinks, as well as beer, compliments of Second Line Brewing. Because the COVID-19 pandemic was so devastating to our local restaurant industry, rather than ask for food donations to our event this year, we wanted to give back by providing food vendors the opportunity to sell their items at NOLA Bluedoo. So come hungry and show your love to the below NOLA Bluedoo 2022 food and beverage partners.
