On a bright morning, as trainers hit the pavement and determination fills the air, I’m reminded why every step matters. Every stride carries the hope of someone struggling with something many of us take for granted — the simple act of swallowing.
I work for Phagenesis, where every day I see the impact that innovation and research can have on people living with dysphagia. It’s not just a condition — it’s a challenge that affects confidence, health, and quality of life. But it’s also a space where progress is happening, and where support truly makes a difference.
That’s why I’m lacing up for the Dash for Dysphagia this year — and I’d love for you to support me. This event raises critical awareness about swallowing disorders and helps fuel the research and innovation needed to improve lives.
So as I run, walk or hike I’ll be thinking of the people behind the cause — and every bit of encouragement, every donation, and every share helps us take one step closer to change. 💙
