In 2024, it is estimated that over 22,000 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer and over 14,000 will die as a result of the disease. Women with a BRCA1 mutation have an estimated 39–46% risk of developing ovarian cancer by age 70. Women with a BRCA2 mutation have an estimated 10–27% risk of developing ovarian cancer by age 70.
We need to inform more people about genetic testing so they know if they are at an increased risk of ovarian, breast and other gyn cancers due to their genetics. Help us by joining the fight!
