The Girlfriends event is very special to NWPT! 19 years ago we started the Girlfriends run/walk to support one of our clients Joleen Skarberg who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Over the last 19 years, nearly $1 million has been raised for local breast cancer organizations including Pink Lemonade Project and Kearney Breast Center. The legacy continues with Why Racing Events and Karissa Schoene (Joleen's daughter) now producing the event.
We continue to support this incredible event raising critical funds to help local women experiencing Breast Cancer.

Pink Lemonade Project programs/services include outreach, education, screening/mammograms, financial assistance, and emotional/psychological support.
