NYPD Triathlon Team Virtual Run

UPDATE FOR IN PERSON RUN!!!

The in-person run will be held at 10 AM on October 3rd at Fort Totten, Queens, NY. Please arrive around 9:30 AM to secure parking in time for the start. When entering the park, inform the guard at the booth that you are there for the NYPD Run, otherwise, you may be directed to park outside. In-person registration is available for last minute signups. 

After the run is complete, please stay for refreshments, music, and community!We hope to see you there,

Come one, come all!! It doesn't matter where you are or what you are doing, you can be a part of this VIRTUAL run with the NYPD Triathlon Team!!!  

NEW THIS YEAR!!! We WILL have a day where we can all come and run together. No timing chips.... no awards.... just show your support and love to our brothers and sisters in Blue. This LIVE event will be on October 3rd at Fort Totten Park, Queens, NY. More details are coming soon. 

You do NOT have to be a part of the live event on October 3rd! This is still a Virtual Challenge event and we encourage everyone, everyWHERE, to run on their own from Sept 1 to Oct 3rd!

The 2021 Virtual run comes with your very own NYPD Tri Team Challenge Coin (photo below). All proceeds will be donated to the families of those officers who have lost their lives from suicide. 

WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RUN?  A virtual run is a run that you do on your own time, at your own location, and at your own pace, all in support of the Men and Women in Blue of the NYPD Triathlon Team. 

WHAT DO I GET FOR RUNNING A VIRTUAL RUN?   You will receive an awesome challenge coin and physical bib in the mail. We will send it out shortly after you register (Every Friday in September). You also get a virtual bib generated when you sign up, in case you get your run in BEFORE your bib shows up in the mail. 

SO WHAT DO I DO WITH MY GEAR? Run!!!! We want you to wear your bib when you go out for your run!! And take a photo or screenshot of your results and of you with your bib and medal and SHARE SHARE SHARE on Social Media.

WHEN DO I NEED TO RUN?    As you register, we will send you out your Challenge Coin and your bib! We would LOVE it if everyone would flood their social media site with postings as you complete your event!
