We are deeply saddened by the loss of Metuchen High School 10th grader Olivia Rodrigues, who passed away yesterday from a rare disease known as pulmonary hypertension.
Olivia loved Metuchen. According to MHS Principal Ed Porowski in his note to staff members earlier today, Olivia “loved every moment of every day. She loved her teachers and support staff, she adored the friends she made, and she loved learning…Olivia loved school. Olivia loved us. And, I’m sure I’m right in saying that we all loved Olivia.”
