We met while training for the 2023 Dopey Challenge. What started as miles and early mornings quickly became something more. From finish lines to first dates, running has been at the heart of our story. And in January 2025, on the same course where it all began, we got engaged during the 5K with a Rapunzel-themed proposal straight out of a fairytale.
Now we’re taking on the 2026 Dopey Challenge as our honeymoon, just one week after we say “I do” on a Disney Cruise. It’s the perfect adventure to celebrate three unforgettable years together and the next chapter of our lives.
But we’re not just running for us.
We’re running to raise funds for A Running Passion, a nonprofit honoring the legacy of Coach Will Fulford by helping young athletes in cross-country and track and field. They provide coaching, education, and financial support to break down barriers and build brighter futures through sport.
Running gave us each other. It gave us confidence, community, and joy. And now we want to pass that gift on.
