1K Fun Run
USATF Certified 10K and 5K Courses and Bike Ride
Start out the New Year with a health and fitness-oriented routine at the Palm Springs Health Run & Wellness Festival on Saturday, January 23, 2027 from (8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.) for the 10K, 5K. Every 10K, 5K registrant receives a numbered bib with micro-chip for timed run, Townie Bagels, coffee and and protein snacks and bananas, t-shirt, registration bag, finisher’s medal and water stations along the route.
Bike Ride registrants will receive Townie Bagels, coffee and protein snacks and bananas, t-shirt, registration bag, finisher’s medal and water stations along the route. This is not a race or timed bike ride.
Event Description
The Palm Springs Health Run & Wellness Festival has now become one of the largest events of its kind in Southern California and follows a spectacularly beautiful path in and around Ruth Hardy Park with picture perfect views of the San Jacinto Mountain Range. Hot, hip and fun is how describe the desert oasis of Palm Springs.
This USA Track and Field certified 10K and 5K event has caught the attention of serious runners and nationally recognized health and wellness speakers.
The Expo has grown substantially since its inception and now has over 80 vendors showcasing the latest in nutrition and exercise techniques, LifeStream Blood Bank Drive, and rock climbing wall.
Not only is the event a way for health conscious individuals and families to come together, but it has now become a major fundraiser.

1K Fun Run
Each participant under 12 will receive a bib (NON-TIMED) and a finisher’s medal.
Race Day Schedule
- 5K Run Begins at 8:30AM
- 10K Run Begins at 9:30AM
- 1K Fun Run Begins at 10:30AM
- Bike Ride Begins at 11:00AM
Awards
The awards ceremony will present trophies to the top three overall male and female finishers in both 10K Run* and 5K Run*. Awards will be given to the first, second and third place finishers in the following age-groups for both men and women in the 10K Run and the 5K Run: Under 9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.
Registration is not required to enjoy the FREE Wellness Festival with over 80 booths providing giveaways and services, health screenings, testings, and free vaccines. It also includes ationally recognized fitness experts, Rock Climbing Wall, massages, and much, much more. Fun for the entire family!
