Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am raising awareness and funds to support advocacy for Medicare for All and will be participating in a 5K this October 18th! I will be safely running with my dogs in my own neighborhood, but I want to invite you to support my advocacy from your couch or sign up to run in your own neighborhood!
I am running with healthcare workers from across the state of Minnesota that support putting patients before profits. Together with Physicians for a National Health Program of MN, I believe we should fight for universal healthcare through single payer reform. Expanded and improved Medicare for All will save millions of lives, millions of dollars, and many hours and dollars in painful administrative waste across our healthcare system. Patients will finally be able to truly choose their healthcare provider. Healthcare providers will finally be able to give the care they know our patients need without jumping through absurd, wasteful hoops set up by our profit-driven insurance industry with the aim to deny care to pad the pockets of their shareholders. Small businesses and farmers across the country can continue to do what they do to support our economy and will no longer be burdened with our astronomically expensive and inaccessible "free open market" as they shop for insurance that forces them out of business and off of the farm. No more families will have to fear bankruptcy due to medical bills.
Physicians for a National Health Program MN is a collaboration of doctors and other healthcare workers across the state- joining together and amplifying our voices to advocate for policy change requires administrative support that costs money. Please consider helping us continue our grassroots advocacy work and support my participation in this fun run.
