Hey There!!!
My name is Patrick; for those who don't know me let me give you a quick synopsis! I have a rare neuromuscular disease called Friedrich's Ataxia (FA). There is currently no cure for FA.
I have dealt w this my entire life but was correctly diagnosed 14 years ago. Since my diagnosis I have done numerous triathlons and one Boston Marathon!! I have had two shoulder surgeries in the past 4 years and haven't raced w my arms since.......until January!! With my service dog, Knight by my side I am going to roll the Disney 5k in my manual chair!
I am raising funds for 'Cure Rare Disease' with is an incredible charity whose goal is to help raise awareness and funds for research for MANY rare diseases!!
