This year's Paws for a Cause fundraiser challenges participants to log miles through various activities including running/biking/swimming/hiking/walking. The challenge will take place from November 23-December 15, giving individuals and teams 3 weeks to accumulate miles. Each registrant/team will be assigned a fundraising page where they can log miles and receive donations. All funds raised will benefit Live with Purpose & Jetty Rock Foundation, specifically toward a community member in need of a service dog.

Registration opens on Friday, November 20, 2020
2. When can I start logging miles?
You and your team can start logging miles on Monday, November 23, 2020.
3. What activities count towards miles?
You can walk, run, bike, swim, hike, paddle and row. Miles accumulated on a
Peloton/stationary bike, elliptical or treadmill count too!
4. Is there a limit to how many people can be on a team?
Nope! The more team members, the more miles you can log and money
you can raise.
5. What do the funds raised from this event go towards?
100% of the funds raised for Paws for a Cause, including the registration fee, go towards funding a service
dog for someone in our local community.
7. If I'm not participating in the activity challenge, how can I donate?
Just click the "Donate" tab at the top of the Race page to donate. You can then also choose to donate to a specific individual or team's fundraising effort by searching their name or team name.
8. Can I sponsor the challenge?
We have 2 sponsorship levels for the activity challenge. You can find sponsorship information under "Interested in Being a Sponsor?" tab
9. How do teams/participants collect donations?
Pledges to a team/participant are Flat-Rate donations, the amount being determined by the donor.
10. How do I set an individual mileage goal?
Click the profile picture in the top right corner then click on "profile", click on "submit virtual results". Scroll down and click on "edit personal goals".
Make sure to "Save Goal" before exiting.
11. How do I set a team mileage goal?
Click on "Results" at the top of the page, then "Team Results". Select your team and set your goal. Make sure to "Save Goal" before exiting.
The Jetty Rock Foundation is the non-profit arm of the Jetty brand. This charitable organization was formed in June of 2013 as a direct result of Jetty's massive Sandy Relief efforts. The approved 501(C)3 Charitable Organization allows the Jetty brand to continue to be a vehicle for fundraising by using its design, screen printing, and event prowess while providing a formidable channel to get direct aid to those in need.
Paws for a Cause is providing Lily with a diabetic alert dog, Fred, a standard poodle, has been trained to smell dangerously low and high blood sugar levels on Lily and provide a level of security as she approaches adulthood. Lily will also get lots of love and emotional support from Fred, resulting in an increased sense of security and balance while living with Type 1 Diabetes. Fred and Lily have already met and share a special bond. We have already raised over $16,000 but we still have some funds to raise as Fred is now ready to go home with Lily and start their life together.
