My sister Alex and I live with a rare, progressive disease called Friedreich’s Ataxia. We’ve spent more than half our lives navigating its challenges—but we’ve never let it define who we are.
We’re incredibly honored to be recognized by the Denise D’Ascenzo Foundation as representatives of the rare disease community during this year’s walk. Alex will also be there on behalf of her nonprofit, Peace Love ACCESSibility, whose mission is to break down barriers and build communities that welcome and include people with mobility impairments and disabilities.
We’d love for you to join us for this inspiring event—or, if you’re able, help us reach our fundraising goal. Every step makes a difference.
Thank you so much for your support!
