It all started with a commercial, no, lets back that up. It all started with Memaw and her breast cancer journey. So i came across a commercial asking people to walk 60 miles. Done. Then it spread and there was nothing more they could do. I then came across another commercial to run 13 miles with Donna. Easy. Ive already walked 20 in a day, i can run, maybe. Then she passed away and i felt her turn me invincible. The next year i decided to increase the distance and run my first Donna marathon; 26miles, i mean its only 6 more miles, right? Then we all know i did the whole WalkforBoobs then Pink Feet 50 state mission right? Done. So whats next? Well, im still hanging in there, barely. But this is year 17 of running Donna because i havent given up on that promise i made Memaw that i would do everything i could to help spread awareness of this horrible disease. So here I go running the half marathon on Feb 4 keeping my Streaker status. Next year Feb 2025, is already set for tull marathon (with friends pinky promised running too), so I look at this as my training kick off of the year!
