After much perfecting of her form, our girl is excited and ready to hit the track! Margot loves all the perks of becoming a Zilker Panther this year, and wants to help contribute to keep all the programs and resources that benefit the entire community.
Since she has no checkbook, this is where you come in. She runs laps around the track and you pledge some dollars!
Texas public school funding is LAUGHABLE at best, so the school utilizes donations to help bridge an enormous gap.
Just how does the money raised help Zilker Elementary?
- Help pay the salary of the school’s in house counselor
- Funds the school’s garden program
- Ongoing teacher and staff appreciation efforts
- Art, music, PE and classroom supplies and educational resources
- Funds $200 per teacher mini grants
- Campus improvements such as painting, repairs and grounds beautification (her dad's favorite!)
- Literacy, Math and Arts Programs and Events
