Outrun Hunger 5K race - and 1-mile fun walk

As the daughter of a mid-Western farmer, I was raised to learn how to make the most of what I was given and that is a principle I have always upheld. As a child, I have many happy memories of going out in the fields of Brookfield Farm in the fall to "glean" what had not been harvested!!! Not only was it satisfying work, but the days of processing tomatoes for our winter sauces or batches of pesto, side by side with my daddy are times I will always cherish!!! I am here humbly asking for your support at the start another growing season to help fund Rachel's Table and the truly amazing work that they are doing to make sure that access to fresh food is available to those in need!!! No child should be left hungry, anywhere, and if we can feed our community, our community will feed us back by thriving instead of surviving!!!
