The Lord’s Kitchen is a non-profit organization that has served over 8 million meals since its humble beginning on Christmas Day of 1988. We have faithfully fed the needy in our community, 365 days a year, 7 days a week, for 29 consecutive years never closing our doors. In addition to our two feeding sites located in the heart of downtown Louisville, The Lord's Kitchen blesses the local community each year with various give-aways like the Thanksgiving Food Box Give-Away, Christmas Food Box Give-Away, coat drive, Summer feeding program along with an outdoor feeding program for the homeless. Last year we were able to provide during the Holidays over 2,500 chickens/turkeys and 1,900 boxes of food to people in need. Throughout the year, we gave out over 1.2 million pounds of food. Our purpose and mission statement that we live by each day is, “Changing lives one meal, one day at a time.” Our hope is that we will make a positive impact and change someone’s life for the Kingdom of God. We are extremely excited about our latest project where we have partnered with our local Veteran's Administration office and other various agencies to provide housing/shelter for homeless veterans called "Hope Housing". It is an extreme honor to have the ability to be able to support those who have given their lives to protect and serve our country. It is our goal to empower individuals to a higher probability of success and we welcome your support to help us reach our goals!
